        SILMATE-(Ortho Silicic Acid)

 

  1. Silmate in Ortho Silicic Acid (OSA) contains Silicon in a highly biologically active form.

  2. Silmate (OSA) is a novel formulation containing bioavailable Silica.

  3. It strengthens the leaf cellular walls and surfaces and ensures better distribution of nutrients throughout the plant.

  4. It provides thick harder leaves and better leaf arrangement.

  5. It prevents insect damage by sucking pest like thrips, aphids by creating a protective layer over leaf and stems.

  6. It helps in higher chlorophyll production leading to more photosynthesis.

  7. Silmate (OSA)- alleviate abiotic stressors such as drought, heavy metal toxicity, and salinity, resulting in increased yield.

  8. It is the simplest and biologically available form of Silica, readily absorbed by plants.

  9. It helps to resist toxicity from high levels of phosphorus, manganese, aluminium and sodium.

  10. Dose is 1-2 ml per litre of water, 250ml per acre.
